Fox and Bones are a dynamic folk-Americana duo whose retro-tinged, harmony-rich sound has taken them to stages around the world with acts like Rayland Baxter and The Dead South. Their Greg Holden–collaboration Long Time Honeyearned Best Folk/Americana Album of 2024, adding to their growing list of accolades. They are also the founders of Portland’s Folk Festival at the Crystal Ballroom.

GLASS BEAD ORCHESTRA

The Glass Bead Orchestra is an expressive 10-piece jazz ensemble led by composer and vocalist Rachel Bade-McMurphy, blending post-bop, modern jazz, and impressionistic cross-genre influences into richly orchestrated, spiritually driven original music. Inspired by literature, philosophy, and the legacy of Strata-East, the group features some of the region’s top players and is supported by a prestigious Chamber Music America Performance Plus grant for female-led jazz ensembles.

Dario Ré is a singer-songwriter and composer known for richly layered, genre-blending work that moves between indie rock, chamber folk, and world fusion. Based in the mountains above Sandpoint, Idaho, Ré is also the lead singer-songwriter for Heat Speak, a highly collaborative ensemble featuring eclectic instrumentation, strings, keys, upright bass, accordion, percussion, and more creating intricate arrangements and dynamic live shows.
